My journey into massage therapy began with a fascination for the body’s ability to heal when given the right support. I believe the best educators are active practitioners and lifelong students, and my experience has ranged from working with professional athletes to partnering with wellness studios, gyms, and trainers. I’ve also focused on expanding education in the field, including developing a cupping course currently pending national board certification. At Massage Life Academy, I help oversee administrative policies and classroom standards with the goal of preparing students to become skilled, confident professionals. Outside of work, I’m usually outdoors and value bringing that same grounded energy into the learning environment.

I first felt the calling of massage when I was just 14. I went on to graduate from the Living Arts Institute in North Carolina in 2019 after earning my associates degree from Mitchell Community College in Statesville, NC. Even while I was in school myself, I felt compelled to help tutor my fellow classmates, as learning and sharing knowledge has always been a strong passion of mine—second only to my passion for Massage Therapy and holistic health/healing. My massage background integrates a wide variety of techniques pooled together with a tai chi-like flow to provide my clients with healing for the body, mind, and soul. I helped found Massage Life Academy and served as the first Academy Director at the school. I currently sit on the board of advisors and serve as VP of Development for the academy. My academic knowledge, passion, and field experience help me create a learning environment that students thrive in.

My journey into massage therapy began with a focus on finding a balance between my family responsibilities and career aspirations. Raising my children was my top priority, so I needed a profession that offered flexibility and reasonable pay. Massage therapy appealed to me because it provided an efficient, affordable path to a rewarding career while also aligning well with my needs and learning style. I graduated from Myotherapy College in 2007 and have certificates in Graston Technique and Level 1 certification in lymphatic drainage technique from the Chikly Institute.

 A gymnastics injury first introduced me to the power of manual therapy after it helped me get back on my feet following a serious pelvic injury. Years later, during a stressful period in my life, a massage from my brother inspired me to change careers—I enrolled in massage school that same day. I graduated from Utah College of Massage Therapy’s Professional Massage Therapist and Master Bodyworker programs in 2011 and have practiced for more than 14 years. I specialize in headache and migraine relief, medical massage, myofascial release, injury work, trigger point therapy, and craniosacral therapy. 

She teaches: Deep Tissue I & II; Spa Tools; CPR, Sanitation, & Universal Precautions; Ethics & Business in Massage. She also supervises clinics.

I’m a graduate of Idaho State University’s massage program and a Reiki Master in the Usui Shiki Ryoho method. My approach combines training, intuition, and a strong understanding of the body to create a therapeutic, healing experience with a nurturing and attentive touch. I’m passionate about helping people feel better and excited to share my knowledge and experience with future massage therapists at MLA.

She teaches: Modality Appreciation, Introduction to Hands-On Foundations; Pathology.

 I always knew I wanted a career where I could help people feel better, and I’ve always loved human anatomy—just not med-school-level math! I attended massage school in 2013 and knew I’d found the right path. I earned my massage therapy certification through UCMT, an associate degree in Psychology, and a bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Sciences/Physical Therapy from Weber State University. I’m a total anatomy nerd and specialize in deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, and post-injury work. 

She teaches:  Muscle Anatomy Palpation, & Kinesiology I & II; Anatomy, Physiology, & Kinesiology Review; Modality Appreciation; MBLEx Prep; and Systems of the Human Body. 

I originally started going to physical therapy school and decided to change careers. I received my master esthetic license in April of 2011 and loved the opportunity to help people with their skin and confidence. I then decided to teach Esthetics in 2015 and while I was teaching, I went to massage school and received my massage license in July of 2017. I went to the Skin Institute in St. George, Utah for both master esthetics and massage. I have loved every minute of both service modalities and the abilities I have to help people feel better in mind, body, and soul.

I am a massage therapist specializing in pain management and injury recovery. I graduated from Utah College Of Massage Therapy at Lindon Utah in 2012 and have been an active and dedicated therapist since. After a life of debilitating pain I discovered massage therapy in college and experienced true pain relief for the first time in my life. Since that experience I have made it my life’s ambition to provide pain relief and recovery to as many people as possible, to help elevate quality of life and promote healing in my clients. I have since obtained my Lymphatic specialty certification in 2024 at My LaVetta in Eagle Mountain Utah, to work with post op and injury recovery clients. It is my belief that the more people that can experience the healing nature of massage the healthier and happier we can live together as a community.
