Overview:

Instructors teach 2-hour classes Monday–Thursday during the morning and/or evening (your choice). The school is closed weekends and holidays except for appointments. Student make-ups take place Friday-Sunday, but you'll receive extra compensation at time and half rates for these. This is a 1099 independent contractor role.

Requirements:

• Valid Utah Massage Therapy License
• 3+ years of hands-on experience as a licensed massage therapist
• Strong knowledge of massage-related subjects (anatomy, physiology, technique, ethics, etc.)
• Clear communication skills and a passion for teaching and mentoring students
• Fun and likeable personality with the ability and passion to motivate students
• No teaching experience required — but it is helpful
• 8-hour teaching certification (free, non-paid)

Compensation & Benefits:

• $27/hour (2-hour classes)
• Monthly faculty meeting (non-paid)
• Time and a half ($37.50/hour) for student make-up appointments (Fri-Sun)
