Upon graduation, students will be educated and competent in the occupation of Massage Therapy; providing safe and effective massage therapy, along with a set of life-long skills and techniques, and a passion for this beautiful, healing art. Self care and career longevity are big focuses and encouraged for students and staff alike. 

Our program includes 664 clock hours over 8 months (34 weeks) which includes 120 hours of  hands-on clinic and work experience in a professional spa.

We also offer continuing education classes after graduation.

New classes start in January, May, and September. Classes are held Monday-Thursday at the following times:

• 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
• 1:30 pm - 5:30 pm
• 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm

The school is closed Friday-Sunday and major holidays except by appointment. 

Upon completion, you'll be prepared to take the MBLEx exam and obtain your massage therapy license in the state of Utah. This will allow you to practice safe and effective massage therapy on any path you choose. 

We have a 100% success rate. All of our graduates have passed their MBLEx and went on to practice massage. (Updated June 2025)

The cost of our program is $10,600. This includes everything you need to become a licensed massage therapist, except for your MBLEx test ($265) and state fees ($80). Here's a breakdown: 

• Tuition ($9,800)
• Registration fee ($150)
• Textbooks, oil bottle and holster, massage table, two sets of uniforms (scrubs) and sheets, and ABMP Membership and perks ($650)

We offer several types of financial aid including:

• Tuition reimbursement

To learn more about our unique No Interest financial aid programs, schedule an appointment with an advisor. We do not offer FAFSA (Federal student aid), but we do offer many unique grants and scholarships not offered anywhere else.

You are welcome to pay tuition as you go. The pay-as-you-go rate is $1,400/module, every five weeks. There are no interest charges for paying as you go. A $20/day late fee is assessed if payments are received late.

Save 10% if you pay tuition early in two installments. The first installment is due one week before classes begin. The second installment is due halfway through the program, one week before the seventh class begins. Paying early in two installments saves you a lot of money!

If you’re hired by Spa One after you’re licensed, Spa One will reimburse you up to $100/month in tuition for up to four full years. That’s a reimbursement of up to $4,800 in total tuition! Keep in mind, you must maintain a schedule of at least 20 hours per week and remain continuously employed to qualify for reimbursements.
