The total cost of our program is $12,000. This includes almost everything, except for state and testing fees of approximately $345, transportation to and from school, food and snacks, and make-up fees if classes are missed ($30/hour). If you've been awarded a grant or scholarship, your tuition will be lowered that amount. 

Our 644-hour program includes comprehensive instruction in anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, massage theory, professional ethics, business practices, and multiple massage modalities, along with extensive hands-on practice and supervised clinical experience in a real luxury spa, with real professionals, and real clients. No other school offers this.

Yes, you save 10% on your total tuition if you pay by the deadline. That's a savings of over $1,000! This discount applies to anyone paying out-of-pocket or getting a loan.

Our refund policy takes all the stress out of attending school. It reflects our commitment to ethical treatment of students and responsible educational practices. 

If you change your mind or experience an unexpected life change, you may formally withdrawal and receive the following refund:

• Registration fee: Fully refundable at any time up to the point you enroll and finalize all financial requirements; it is nonrefundable after that. If you register and enroll the same day, you may still get a refund for up to three (3) business days.
• Books, uniforms, supplies, and memberships: Fully refundable if not used and returned in new condition. Text books must be the latest published editions. 
• Tuition: Fully refundable before classes begin. Once classes start, you are responsible for tuition corresponding to the portion of the program attended prior to filing a withdrawal. Any unused balance may be refunded.
• Refunds: If a refund is due, the refund will be issued to the party who originally paid the tuition, unless otherwise required by law. Refunds are processed within thirty (30) days of filing a formal withdrawal.

Our students tell us it's difficult, but 100% of them have graduated and become licensed massage therapists. We have amazing instructors, many learning aids, and free tutoring for all students throughout the program.

We believe in quality over quantity, so we limit classes to 8 students. This gives you more one-on-one with instructors and results in a better education. 

After completing our program and paying all fees, you'll receive a certificate of completion and diploma that allows you to take the MBLEx (Massage and Bodywork Licensing Examination). After passing the exam and paying Utah State licensing fees ($80), you receive your Utah Massage Therapist License. This allows you to begin offering services, charging for services, and accepting tips.

Currently, Utah does not allow compensation of any kind to students (see Utah Code § 58-47b-301(2)). All tips are collected and deposited into the Massage Life Academy Grant & Scholarship Fund, where 100% of the money is used to help students pay for school.

Tips add another $10-$20/hour of income on average, making massage therapists one of the best paying jobs in Utah! 

You have three options: 1) Pay upfront with a 10% discount, 2) Pay as you go with no interest, or 3) Get a loan from a third party lender. We can help you with all of these options. 

It's a challenge! We've tried to make it easier by scheduling classes mornings or evenings just four days a week Monday through Thursday. That leaves the better part of each day plus Fridays and weekends for other priorities. 

Every Friday we offer free tutoring and make-up classes for students who need it. It's 100% free for excused absence makeups and students needing help.

You will receive a certificate of completion and a diploma that qualifies you to take the Massage and Bodywork Licensing Examination (MBLEx) and become licensed in the state of Utah.

Often, yes—but not automatically. Each state has its own licensing requirements, and you’ll typically apply by endorsement or reciprocity. Utah’s 600-hour education requirement and the MBLEx are accepted by many states, but additional requirements may apply depending on where you move.
